This site is run by KW Compliance Consulting, Inc., which specializes in privacy and regulatory compliance for companies in the pharmaceutical industry, including sponsors, CROs, and vendors.  We have experience working with companies of all sizes, from small startups to large international organizations.  Because KW Compliance consultants understand the complexities of clinical trials, marketed products, CROs, labs, etc., they know how to ask the right questions to make sure you’ve considered every aspect of personal data protection.

KW Compliance Consulting was founded by Kristin Williams, Esq.  Kristin is a North Carolina licensed attorney who holds a Juris Doctor and Master of Jurisprudence in Health Law from Loyola University Chicago.  Kristin has over fifteen years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having worked in-house for both sponsors and CROs, lastly as the Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Compliance at a CRO. 

 

Kristin holds a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and Certified Information Privacy Professional – Europe (CIPP-E) certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (iApp).  Kristin is also a registered patent attorney with the USPTO.

 

Prior to law school, Kristin's career started in clinical operations and then moved to quality assurance and regulatory compliance, so Kristin has a deep understanding of how pharmaceutical companies, CROs, and vendors operate, and the complexities around these arrangements.
